Mental Health Campaign
PUBLIC HEALTH  |  ART DIRECTION  |  MIXED MEDIA

Agency:  Banyan Communications
Client:  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
Software:  Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Stock
A suite of 8 images designed to bring authenticity, empathy, and inclusivity to the CDC Mental Health website.

This project replaced outdated stock photos with visuals that feel real and approachable, showing diverse people connecting in a hopeful and authentic way. I led the creative concepts, sourced inclusive stock photography, presented the client proposal, and designed eight final images. The goal was to create visuals that felt hopeful and authentic without leaning into overly happy or sad tones. I took full ownership from start to finish.

CONCEPTS  |  SKETCHES  |  PRESENTATION
Three concept approaches exploring the theme of mental health, presented to the client with sample visuals.

Each concept featured a unique visual direction, accompanied by a sample image to showcase the style and approach. The proposal highlighted diverse ways to communicate authenticity, inclusivity, and hope, ensuring the final design aligned with the CDC’s vision.
