The storyboards aimed to show Beth's journey through bold and symbolic visuals.
A chessboard tunnel pulls the viewer into her mind, while a pawn transforms into a pill, reflecting addiction and change. Desks, staircases, and chess pieces emerge, symbolizing her rise in the chess world. The sequence concludes with an hourglass, zooming into the falling sand, representing time and fate.
